About me

I was born in Munich and graduated from the teacher training college there. After the second state examination, I taught children and adolescents at Bavarian schools for a period of more than 30 years. In 1991 my life was enriched by a great gift – the adoption of two little siblings from India. This created a personal relationship with India that had grown over the years. I dealt with the deep roots of Indian culture, especially the science of yoga and its key practice meditation. As a result, I started meditating in Chopra style and began my training as a teacher for Primordial Sound Meditation at Chopra University in Carlsbad, California. The world-famous Indian thought leader & pioneer for personal transformation, the neuro-endocrinologist Dr. Deepak Chopra as well as the neurologist and co-founder of the Chopra Center, Dr. David Simon were my direct teachers. Since 2010 I have been working as a Dr. Chopra certified, featured meditation teacher at Chopra Center University. I am in continuous training and contact with the Chopra Center and Chopra Global. I would be happy to accompany and support you with all your efforts on the way to sustainable well-being and health, fulfilment, personal freedom and life-changing self-discovery.

What is Meditation in Chopra Style?

The effect of the Primordial-Sounds

Meditation in Chopra-Style uses a classical, ancient Vedic method from India. Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. David Simon called it Primordial Sound Meditation, because they felt this was the most appropriate explanation for what the technique is. Primordial Sounds – the basic, most important sound vibrations of nature – are used to detach us from the daily activities of life. 

In connection with scholars and scientists in the Occident and in India, both world-renowned doctors have revived this millennia-old meditation practice in a brilliant way, systemised it and given it a simplified format. This means that the ORIGINAL METHOD remains unaffected without loss of substance, but is more easily accessible to people of today. The high effectiveness of Primordial Sound Meditation has been verified by modern science.

When you learn to meditate in the Chopra Style, you will receive a personal mantra. A Primordial Sound Mantra is a specific sound or vibration that is timeless and non-denominational. A Sanskrit word that translates it as „vehicle of the mind“. It helps you to enter deeper, quieter levels oft he mind, to reawaken balance and tranquility. Your individually selected mantra is based on the natural vibration of the universe at the time and place of your birth. Silently and softly used, it will ease your meditation practice. It is calculated according to Vedic mathematic formulas.

How is the basic course structured?

1. Session: Basic principles and modes of meditation, it’s history and the importance of your Primordial Sound Mantra.

2. Session: You will receive personal instruction in your Primordial Sound Mantra and learn how to use it. You will meditate for the first time in the Chopra- Style.

3. Session: You will learn additional, practical aspects of meditation, share your experiences, receive answers to questions and we will meditate together.

4. Session: You will attend a lecture about the higher states of consciousness and an introduction into the Vedic philosophy of consciousness, which is edited by Dr. Deepak Chopra, one of the greatest authorities for meditation worldwide, for the modern Western world.

What can I expect in the course?

A course contains 4 learning units and is designed for small groups. A personal birth mantra is required – which is individually created according to Vedic mathematics.

We will focus on the ancient, powerful practice of meditation and what it does to our body, mind and soul. At the end of the course you will have a deeper understanding of all aspects of meditation. You will be able to meditate with less effort and effectively on your own, because we learn to practice the original Indian method without loss of authenticity in a contemporary format and to integrate it into everyday life – ideal for modern, western people.

It can vary depending on the venue and the offer – please ask for details.

Usually 350,- Euro per person ( 300,- course fee + 50,- Euro mantra creation). The price includes drinks, snacks during breaks, handouts and certificate of participation.

How do I get to the venue?

If you want to come by car, you can reach Bad Wörishofen directly via the A 96, and it takes about an hour from Munich and Lindau.

Parking spaces are available free of charge in the complex.
